If you’ve been in the Luxor lately you’ve probably noticed that there is a lot of construction going on. Here is a summary of what’s happening:
Aurora - Open Now. This is a new bar located across the lobby from the front desk. It’s named for the lights on the ceiling that the northern lights.
Restore - Open Now. This is a new pool area for those 21 years and older. They offer amenities like iced aromatherapy towels, margarita Popsicles and more.
Cathouse - Opening Fall 2007. This is an 18th Century bordello themed entertainment dining and ultra lounge located near the Pyramid Cafe. Sounds interesting.
Flight - Opening Fall 2007. A cocktail bar that will be across from LAX.
Liquidity - Opening Fall 2007. This is an ultrabar featuring three different lounges and gaming. It will be in the middle of the casino.
LAX - Opening Fall 2007. LAX is a dance club in Hollywood that is opening a new branch in at Luxor. This is being run by the same people who do Pure at Caesars Palace and Tangerine in TI, so it will probably be a popular one. It will be near the Casino cage.
Aspen 702 - Opening Fall 2007. Aspen 702 is a new steakhouse, also run by Pure Management Group. Think high-end Aspen ski lodge. The 702 comes from the Las Vegas area code. The chef there will Jonathan Snyder, who was formerly executive chef of PRIME Steakhouse at Bellagio. There is also star power behind this restaurant, Nicky Hilton, Wilmer Valderrama and Nick Lachey have been linked to the project.
