Class For Circus Circus

March 14th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Did you stay at Circus Circus between July 2, 2001 and April 30, 2003? If the answer is yes, then you may be eligable to become a member of a Class Action and Proposed Settlement against Circus Circus and Mandalay Resort Group.

The Complaint alleges that Circus provided inadequate or misleading disclosures of a $1 per day telephone surcharge. The Complaint also alleges that such conduct violated, among other things, California Business and Professions Code sections 17200 and 17500, et seq., the Consumers Legal Remedies Act, and Commercial Code section 2313 et seq. Circus vigorously denies any wrongdoing and any liability whatsoever.

Should you be elegible, you will be entitled to obtain a coupon and/or credit toward a discount on a room at the Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada. The coupon will give the Settlement Class member a credit equal to $1 per night for up to the number of nights that the Settlement Class member stayed at the Hotel during the Class Period and paid the $1 per night unlimited calls telephone charge.

Each member of the Settlement Class may obtain the coupon by visiting the website, www.circuscircus.com, during the period commencing on April 19, 2007 and ending October 19, 2007.

Check your old calendars. Maybe you’ll receive a discount at your next Circus Circus stay.

The $1 refund is very tempting. I wonder how many people will apply for their dollar?
